Presentation on proposed development of 22 homes on Land South of Banbury Road, Ettington

Presentation on behalf of Ranier for the development of 22 homes on Land South of Banbury Road, Ettington

To be held as the opening matter at Ettington Parish Council on January 17th, 2024

at 7.15 p.m. (NOTE EARLIER TIME) in the Lounge, Ettington Community Centre

Ettington Parish Council has received advance notice of a proposed planning application for Land South of Banbury Road, Ettington (see plan below)

The proposal is being prepared for submission in the early part of 2024.

Outline application (all matters reserved except for access) for the development of 8 homes and the phased development of 14 custom and self-build homes, the formation of a new vehicular access from Banbury Road, and the laying out of public open space

The parish council has agreed to hold an initial information meeting with representatives from Ranier Developments, Mr Grant Stevenson (Planning Director) and Keith Fenwick, of Pegasus Group who will act on behalf of Ranier in submitting the proposal.

Under the terms of the parish council’s adopted Developer Policy, all such meetings are held in public for full transparency. A 20-minute presentation will be given as the opening item at our next Parish Council meeting on Wednesday January 17th starting at 7.15 p.m. There will then be a Q&A session for councillors to seek any additional information or clarification on the proposals.

The meeting is an information sharing exercise for the Parish Council and will NOT be open to questions from the public. There will be no decisions made or views expressed as these will be discussed and agreed as part of normal planning process once any application is submitted.

The Pegasus Group and Ranier will be undertaking a wider public consultation of village residents via a leaflet drop and website. Next stages will be outlined at the meeting

The normal 15-minute public forum held at every parish council meeting will follow the presentation and councillors will be happy to take comments and questions for future consideration at that point.
