The Ettington Gardening Club programme of evening meetings runs from September through to June. The meetings start at 7.30pm on the first Thursday of the month and are held in the small hall of the community centre. In December we have a Christmas buffet or outing and there is no meeting in January. There is usually a Spring or Summer day out by coach to interesting gardens and in August we have a social evening . The talks, usually illustrated, last for about one hour and are followed by refreshments, a raffle and a chance to ask questions and chat. Depending on the time of year there may be members’ plants for sale and some speakers will bring plants to sell.
New members and visitors are very welcome to the club’s meetings which are held on the first Thursday of most months and start at 7.30pm in the small hall of the community centre. Membership remains a bargain at £12 for an annual subscription and the visitor’s fee is £3. For more information about club events just come along to a Thursday evening meeting.
