Stour and the Vale Division - Cllr Izzi Seccombe Report for June 2021

There has been a slight increase in cases of COVID19 we have now increased positivity to 0.7 (in early May this had dropped to 0.3). Largely this is in the younger age range, with some transmission in schools. On the whole this is not translating into Hospitalisations. There has been some targeted vaccinations in Nuneaton where the increased has been greater, and there is mass testing taking place. It is encouraged that people should test reasonably frequently, especially if they are mixing.

The week commencing 7th June is Carers Week when we reflect and remember the work of thousands across Warwickshire. They can be Parent Carers, Neighbours, Friends and Family and also Child Carers – without them lives would be so very different. If you know anyone who is caring, remind them to register their caring so they can be helped or linked with support groups. A video to support Carers Week is here
